Let's Get Halloweird

Well, maybe we aren't getting that weird. Maybe we'll just talk about some Halloween stuff for now. Since we are but a mere TWENTY days away from my FAVORITE holiday. Who doesn't love to get a little spooky? Let's keep it real. So I have compiled a list of things (Halloween related of course) to really put you in the boo-d (you can pretend that was funny).

First of all, I hope you to the dark lord that you are decorating for the holiday (jk I don't worship the dark lord and no offense if you do). Decorating is a ton of fun, there's nothing I love more than running around with severed plastic skeleton arms and carving pumpkins.

I would also recommend you buy a costume if you really want to get in the spirit, even if you don't have anything fun to do on the day of Halloween, handing out candy can be a lot more fun if you are actively participating in the festivities. I'm going as Beetlejuice this year and I can't wait.

Have a scary movie marathon!!! I know not everyone is a fan of scary movies, but I for one, love them. I once read an article saying that people liked scary movies because it helped take the focus off their own fears and anxieties (@ me next time, this might be true). But since we talking about scary movies, I can leave ya a little list of my faves at the bottom of this post.

And without further ado, what to do if all else fails...sit at home on Halloween night eating candy and watching Halloween Wars on the Food Network. Hey, it beats doing nothing and it's still festive enough to count.

SPOOKY TIME

Here are just a few of the movies I love minus the series Slasher: Guilty Party which was wildly terrifying.

"It Follows" was one of the scariest movies I've ever seen and the monster in the movie doesn't even talk.

The first time I saw "The Babadook" was in my living room with 4 other people on a tiny computer screen and it still scared the life out of me.

"Annabelle: Creation" was a far cry from that mess of a first movie they released, this one gave the story depth, and I'm not just talking jump scares, I'm talking "afraid to turn off the lights" scares.

"Gerald's Game" made me deeply consider if I still wanted to pursue the idea of a sugar daddy. This movie will send chills down your spine. It's dark, it's twisted, it's horrifying in more ways than one and definitely worth the watch, it might even rid you of your daddy kink.

And lastly, "The Conjuring 3" was by far the scariest of The Conjuring story line, it still doesn't compare to any of the Insidious movies, which are all incredible and are also sure to give you goose flesh.
